We have released the feature that enables you to choose server code environment.
Here's the explanation about the environment.
In summary, there are two environments you can choose.
0: Existing environment built on node 0.10.x.
6: New environment built on node 6.X.
When you deploy new server code, please choose the new environment 6.
If you have an existing code, please migrate your code to the new environment.
Envrionment 0 is available until 31 Oct 2017.
After that, all server code is executed on the new environment 6.
Please ensure your codes work in the new environment by the date.
Tips of migration
You can test an existing code in the new environment by specifying version on the execution. Please refer to the guide.
After the test, you can deploy your code specifying default environment as 6 so that the new environment is chosen when the code is executed without specifying the version.
To do so, please refer to the guide
You can decide when you activate the code running with the environment 6. Until the activation of newly deployed code, requests by the existing application is processed on the old environment 0.
Please refer to the guide about the activation.
There are not much breaking changes made on node.js between the version 0.10 to 6.
